Alternatively, step into the role of a Dissident—a hidden antagonist motivated to derail your team's progress by any means necessary. Waste precious time, conceal vital items, or eliminate threats to ensure failure. The catch? Get caught, and your true intentions will be exposed to everyone.

Communication is everything in this high-stakes environment. The game features built-in voice chat, allowing players to relay messages in real time. However, beware: Innocents must decipher who is lying, while Dissidents must stay convincing. Manage your stamina wisely—this health-connected resource depletes as you perform actions, and neglecting it can drain your health entirely. Every decision carries weight.

Update 1.0.0 marks the full release of LOCKDOWN Protocol with significant quality-of-life improvements. The game now supports eight languages, making it accessible to a global audience. Visuals have been comprehensively overhauled, including Pizzushi-related items, the tablet interface, minimap, Power and Pressure panels, and container designs for a polished aesthetic. New audio effects for the rice dispenser enhance immersion further. A new Museum has been added to the lobby, celebrating the community, Kickstarter backers, streamers, and supporters who made the game possible. Numerous bug fixes ensure stable, seamless gameplay.
